At least the wine and cheese crowd can use the lame 'traffic' excuse, but what's the students' excuse? I know every team has fans that leave early, but LSU fans are by far the worst.

Today makes it evident. The Bama and Barner crowds have stuck around. Just hitting the 4th quarter in Auburn, up 40 pts and still a bigger crowd than LSU had after halftime vs Miss St.

It's not the fans, it's the past couple administrations. LSU has the same type fans as BAMA and AU, but LSU doesn't want them in the stands. Skip and TAF led a well organized campaign to remove those fans and replace them with the more affluent wine and cheese crowd. What you see is what you're going to get. High powered offense, national championships, beating Bama on a regular basis, nothing is going to bring back those blue collar diehard fans and the Tiger Stadium of old. At least if we improve the coaching situation I can enjoy a modern offensive team compete for championships in a half empty stadium . I can live with that.

And they continue to do this with the rented tailgate spots, etc. Don't you have to get a permit to tailgate now? Hadn't been to a game in a few years.

I don't know, too many rules these days. I quit tailgating several years ago and just go a few hours before kickoff.
