If his only crimes to this point are arrogance and lack of discipline, take a shot. I agree with @CajunlostinCali, the competition here will either humble him or send him packing. If he's not good enough to carve out playing time with the backs we have already and wants out, its no loss.
back in hs i got into a fight getting on the team bus traveling to an away game and rode in the back of the sheriff dept escort car to the game. enjoyed the looks received when we arrived for the game. wasn't in cuffs though and rode the team bus home
Well, he did allegedly punch one of his coaches, but I agree saying he'd be potential for him ending up in jail is unfair. He's lacking maturity and doesn't do well with authority but that's a far cry from criminal.
I think about Devin White getting into legal trouble his senior year in high school. We took a chance on him and he turned out great. Each kid is different. Some grow up and some don't.
There's something about being an aggie that carries a stigma for the rest of your life. Harvey Williams was walking toward signing with aTm when he heard some of his classmates singing the aggie fight song. He changed his mind on the spot and signed with LSU. Great decision. Now he is a Tiger for life.
