Yes, Auburn had a 15 spot jump in both coaches and AP. That's great news for LSU, especially since we play them in a few weeks.

I agree on both. I thought the same then realized how good we have looked in the games we REALLY needed to in terms of level of competition. We'll be at our best come Florida AND Bama. :thumb: A 1 loss Arky team at 10- ahead of Texas???
Websites messed this up somehow or USA Today had to adjust them. Here is the poll. LSU is #2 with 21 1st place votes. Oklahoma retains No. 1, Wisconsin moves up to No. 5
I don't know what to make of the coaches poll. At first, I thought they weren't really paying attention and kept OU at #1 simply because they won. Now Alabama has moved ahead of LSU, but only by 2 points. Big deal, right? But they now have substantially more first-place votes than LSU, don't they? So, looks like they are paying attention. How to account for this? Quite odd having a team #1 in one poll and #3 in the other, and both LSU and OU currently have this problem. Alabama is the consistent #2. It's all weird, but it is also all irrelevant at this point.
