Alright, last year I think everyone pretty much knew that we had a couple guys starting who would not get drafted - Luke Sanders & Carnell Stewart.

My question is, will the '08 team have any starters who will go undrafted? Who might they be?

    Interesting question.

Quinn Johnson, if you consider a FB a starter in our offense.

    Maybe Favorite?

Is Colt David solid enough to get drafted? Do kickers get drafted? I'm not an NFL fan for the most part.

Lets exclude special teams, but I think FB is fair game.

I do not agree with Taylor because he has shown a ton in one year and I think he will do the same this year. I can see Helms and Quinn not getting drafted.

Pittman might be one because of injury concerns even if he has a healthy year.

Say Hatch starts he would be another.

    Alexander???

    helms gets drafted.

    hitt--maybe not.

    is riley fast enough?

DL--i think starters will be jackson, alexander, jean-francois and pittman---and all will get drafted.

CB--havent seen enough of them, but it seems if they have the measurables (which i think eugene and jones do---none are slow or too short) unproven CBs get picked.

hard to look at the roster and say definitively that a particular starter wont get drafted. i think mostly because the unproven guys are young. there are no dyakowskis or stewarts starting as seniors by default.

Definitely add Hitt to my list.

Helms is going to be one of those borderline 7th round/free agent cases.

Maybe I am confused but I thought it was only players who will be entering the 2009 draft.

Hitt will be a Jr if I remember correctly..

If not then Hitt is on the list.

I forgot to add Zinger to my list of starters that won't get drafted, and I meant for all starters - not just those entering the draft next year.

I definitely disagree on Helms. I think he could be as high as a 3rd round pick & won't fall out of the fifth round.

Hitt has made some pretty big strides this Spring, so we'll have to see how he looks after a year at the position under his belt, but right now he's on my possible list.

I think Taylor is a 5th/6th round guy - solid, but not spectacular. Although McCray isn't considered a starter, I don't think he'll get drafted unless he has a chance to start at Safety here before he graduates. It is too tough to say on the rest of DBs because we haven't seen much of them.

I'm not sure about Riley - haven't seen enough of him to judge. He's a definite candidate though.

Quinn is going to be a beast at FB for us this year, but if he's drafted it'll likely be the 6th/7th round, so he's a possible.

Favorite won't be a starter and I don't think he'll get drafted either.

I don't see any of our offensive skill position guys not getting drafted.
