LSU Stadium Sounds -- NCAA Football 2010

I think they should just bring it back and deal with it. It is what it is.

 

Just the band cheering "LSU - Tigers! Fight! Fight! Fight!"

 

Back in my day, the coda to the LSU cheer was:

"L...S...U Tiiiiiigerrrrrrs fight! fight! fight!"

(coda) "Tulane Green Wave... Bite! Bite! Bite!" :lol:.

We played them every year...and then something bad happened on a dark black night in December 1974. All of a sudden ersatz TU fans came out of the woodworks like formosan termites to taunt us Tigers even though Tulane's attendance was the same it is today...like Carver high playing Mc Donough 35. I'll never forget the swarm of "fans" that never went to any TU games getting in my face...never!

Hence the coda. To this day I can't stand Tulane fans. I hope they give up athletics. I hope we never schedule them again in any sport.

Especially after what they did to the ticket prices for the LSU baseball game.

 

Of course... I just wasn't connecting the title to the cheer.

MobileBengal's stuff is pretty sweet. When I get some spare time I may try mixing the a capella and instrumental versions of the Alma Mater to make it sound like the crowd is singing it after the game. It's just a shame that a lot of these tracks are obscure or only available to band members since they would really add something to the game.
