You know, putting the emphasis on beating Bama may be set up for disappointment. We don't need to beat Bama in the regular season to still be competitive for a NC. 2011 taught us that. We did beat them and didn't win the NC. We need to focus on everything else, and give Bama the best we got regardless of outcome. If we do that, we'll be in it at the end of the year and will get our shot whether we beat Bama or not. I would shift that barometer and focus on the rest of the schedule. Hard to do, I know, but that's what needs to happen right now.
I agree, but Bama isn’t the only team with a comparable D. Just used them by name since they’re the benchmark.
