Maybe a 'lil of both. However, I am 100% positive O will Never win a National Championship here. I'm not happy about that at all. The LSU fanbase deserved a real coaching search, with real coaching candidates. It's both sad & embarrassing what happened.
i figured as much... maybe so but what's done is done... no use complaining endlessly about it... i try to support the guy who's here and criticize when warranted, unless i'm playing devil's advocate... for instance, i didn't like the jet sweep king, but i was always hoping he would prove me wrong...
I used to be like that. But in 1993, I decided I could not in good conscience, pull for a coach that didn't deserve to be here. Stadium thinned accordingly, forcing a coaching change. Albeit, 2 years too late.
Maybe Brennan should have gotten more in-game experience last year... So far unhappy with O year 2. It’s still early, but Brennan is kind of a barometer in my opinion; and he didn’t show well.
I wouldn’t be so hard on Brennan. It isn’t like we plan to have the worst D in the SEC. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this D top 10 in the country. The D was absolutely flying.
Think Bama’s D is going to be a cakewalk? There are a ton of strong defenses in the SEC, Brennan couldn’t really do squat against team 1 or 2. I guess most don’t come on till Junior season, but there was hope he might be different. Maybe he can make strides over the summer... Still, as disappointed as I was in Brennan, I was pretty pleased with McMillan. Kinda hopeful he’ll be a step up from Etling. Was also excited to see us throwing the ball so much. Hoping E brings it.
