Hmmm. That’s good to hear. Etling was a good game manager. Hopefully, JM is that and more. Thanks for all of the comments @lsu-i-like . Good stuff there.
As much as offensive success is a two edge sword (maybe the d has weaknesses?) in a spring game, I was happy to see McMillan have some success; like I said, even if we do have a badass D, we can’t beat Bama if we can’t make some hay against our D.
Randy Moss's son, Brandon Pettigrew's son, then- there is Foster Moreau. (I don't know who his dad is) These are TE's people. They caught everything thrown to them. Tight Ends!! Add to that, 741 pound Tyler Shelvin (he needs to put on some weight) - Big #72 in the middle- it took double and triple teams to stop the push. If Vegas has the O/U at 6 games. I am taking the OVER.
Justin Jefferson looked pretty good, the WRs seemed improved. CEH looked pretty dang good. Like Leroy said, TEs looked pretty good. Edge rushers on D look killer.
This should put to bed all of the Canada love. Ed clearly did the right thing. When was the last time LSU scored 55 points in a spring game?
I doubt it’s uncommon. Are you going for the role of anti-TT? I thought it was already filled, but you seem to be gunning for first string.
Spring games are a 2 edged sword. If the offense is good the defense must suck. LSU gained over 500 yards on the ground and over 500 through the air on a Dave Aranda defense.
