Do you think Peveto asked the kicker to kick it out of bounds earlier in the game as well? Players have to execute as well.

 

Substandard performance from his units all season with no improvements with a wealth of talent to work with. Broke dick performance by BDP.

 

I love a strong defense but if we get a little slack with a lead in return for eating clock, I can stomach it. We'll see how they perform against stiffer competition next week.

 

Great, I get it that folks aren't happy with him. Again, the blame was placed on the coach for a misplaced kick. I just pointed out how ridiculous that is.

 

No I think Peveto is asking them to kick the ball in the left corner when both kickers have enough leg to kick touchbacks. Having them skykick into a corner is stupid. Have you been watching special teams this year? We are giving up over 40 yards per return for that reason right there. You ever kicked a football? You know how hard it is to kick it into a corner? Eventually balls are going to be kicked out of bounds so just by asking the kicker to do that is a fucking boneheaded move. Yes it's Peveto's fault.

 

Have you watched the games? (I know you have) They have tried to kick it for touchbacks and it hasn't worked, just ended up in long returns.

 

The blame was rightly placed on BDP. The STs results have been poor regardless of intent.

 

Well on that logic, the intent of Les Miles is to have great special teams and he rehired BDP. The results are poor so it is on Les. Fire them all, 5-0 or not. Sheesh!
