I didn't expect to go far as we lack pitching but got pretty excited when we were 2-0 and it looked like CSF might be able to eliminate ASU. ASU has fought back and their pitching is much better than ours. I sure hope the Lady Tigers can pull off a huge comeback win but if not, the future is bright!

I sure didn't think ASU could beat us twice in one day. I was looking forward to bringing my daughter down to watch them play next weekend...Oh well.
I was hopeful as well. I think this team will be really good the next few years and was hoping they could get a little more experience this year by playing a few additional games. It also appeared they would've a decent shot at making the Women's CWS. That would've been nice.
Well yesterday sure was fun! It's hard to be disappointed when you didn't expect to even be in this position, but after the first game and with NDSU on tap it really did look like the CWS was doable. With a deeper pitching staff next year, the Lady Tigers are going to be tough. Here's to being able to punch their CWS ticket!
