Saban said after last weeks loss he was earning every dollar of his pay with how hard he is working. I wonder if Bama feels that way at 6-5 with Auburn up next?

I TOLD YOU SO SABAN FANS.

Im so glad he is not our coach. There is no excuse for losing to ULM. But that's Saban, playing down to competition.

I told you bama fans last week, but you didn't listen. Bama will not come close to winning a NC under Saban. Heck, I doubt they ever win the SEC.

    Enjoy Bama, you deserve it.

Saban will turn the Tide around before long. Evidently there are a lot of character issues with the kids on his team. They don't have a lot of depth to begin with, and it doesn't help when half a dozen kids get suspended.

Let's see if he can get his team to compete in the Iron Bowl next week. He's getting all his players back from suspension, and Auburn may be distracted by talk of Tubbs heading to Texas A&M. (I can only hope LSU players don't get distraced by CLM-to-Michigan rumors, which will flow like lava from a media volcano starting Monday morning.)

We Tiger fans should enjoy the Tide's losses while we can. Right now Alabama has the #3 recruiting class in the nation, according to Rivals. Expect that to be the case the next year and the next. Before long, the ULMonroe loss will be a distant memory for Tide fans, just as the UAB loss became a distant memory for Tiger fans.

First of all, UAB>>>>>ULM...and secondly, who doesn't remember the embarrassment of losing to UAB? Bottom line, Saban blows a lot of games. Gimme a break about getting "his" players, and turning the program around. This is a program that won 10 games two years ago. They should beat ULM with their walk ons...period. No SEC team should lose to ULM...EVER. He shouldn't need a bunch of blue chippers to do it. If people can't see that he is...albeit a good coach...overrated, then they're blind. He had one great season in his career...ONE. Most non LSU or Michigan St. fans don't even know where Saban was before LSU. It's time to give LSU a little credit for the Nick Saban "legacy".

Don't be disrespecting my indians, they're 5-6, ULL is 3-8.

(P.S. ULM plays ULL this week. What a turnaround for the warhawks to hit .500 this year)

Technically it's Yahoo and a bunch of Stanford grads. Beyond that it's a guy who attended a school in Tennessee. As I've learned, he did used to own bamaonline but I'm not convinced of any conspiracy..........yet.

I'm not sure how you define character in the sense you are using it here...there are some issues. I've used the term Shula hangover here on a few occasions, often misconstrued as Shula's recruits, talent, etc.

    There's a mental hangover...

I've seen this with a lot of teams. Notably LSU in 1973. 9-0 and going into a game with 9-0 Alabama, LSU took a tough loss, then lost the two remaining games and the bowl game too to finish 9-3.

The reverse happened two years ago with LSU and Bama again meeting with 9 wins each. Bama lost and then kept losing.

Big losses can take the starch out of a team.

Well how do you know that ND wasn't still recovering from their big loss in the game prior to yours? :hihi: Come to think of it, who did Michigan play last before losing to Appy St?

That's okay. As Hector would say, Stanford is the loss that keeps on giving. Can't wait for ESPN to FINALLY end their Pontiac GCP contest. :dis:
