Eff that! It's game #8. The time to establish a passing game is spring practice, fall practice, and against that slate of patsies we played early in the year. Too late to try to establish a passing game.

I have no problem with the no huddle. But there is absolutely NO justification for snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the play clock leading late in the 4th quarter. Just go no huddle, which doesn't allow them to sub, and let the clock run down to 1 before snapping it.

There's a difference between no huddle and hurry up. No huddle, fine. Hurry up? Stupid.

I noticed this, too. Damn sure seemed like we had a different play-caller for that game, didn't it?

Hey, we had WRs streaking open for big plays. The passes just weren't there.

Regardless. You still don't run HURRY up, and passing with a guy that's below 40% on the day ain't smart no matter how open they are. You made my point when you said "the passes just weren't there". They weren't there all day. All we did was stop the clock and give them a chance.

Fish is spot on. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Most always the coaches seem surprised when we find the redzone then haphazardly call plays that make no sense to the game. We are often behind and never ahead in our planning which shows in timeouts at the goal line or just in general. It's the one albatross les can't seem to shake. He's often overwhelmed and its reflected in his last 4 qb's play and the offense In general. Disheveled and unorganized. Has to be improved upon greatly.
