No one, let me say that one more time for the slow kids, NO ONE on this board is saying that he isn't. You can't expect anyone with eyes to believe that Chubb isn't a damn good back, better than most and if he isn't right there with LF7 at 1 then he is 1a and not far behind.
Behind in what? And LSU played Syracuse who had the #3 Rushing D in the country...I gave credit for that although Syracuse built up that ranking by beating up on Rhode Island, Wake Forest, and Central Michigan. Nope. You introduced the concept of a weak schedule. SEC'S TOUGHEST NONCONFERENCE SCHEDULES RANK TEAM GAMES 1. Georgia vs. Louisiana-Monroe, vs. Southern, vs. Georgia Southern, AT Georgia Tech 2. Lol. Your observation skills are not very keen. How often does a RB have yardage that regularly surpasses the QB? LSU is winning and Fournette is amazing. With a balanced offense, he doesn't have as many yards. The danger for him is that over the season, he'll get pretty banged up. Miles might have to start pulling him early to make sure he stays healthy. Right, chica?
Chubb is currently way behind Fournette in the perception of the media as to who is leading in the race for the Heisman.
LSU and UGA always have incredibly talented RB's. Both have a long list of RB's who were great in college and went on to have solid NFL careers. I was surprised that right now UGA only has 1 in the NFL while LSU has 3 I believe. Chubb & Michel were both 5 star recruits and are very good. Chubb is averaging 8.4 yards per carry while LF is averaging 8.6. Both incredible numbers for a feature back. Michel is averaging 7 ypc. I have a feeling Williams and Guice will have some very gaudy ypc after we play a couple more of ooc games.
Yea but you know we haven't seen a lot of Williams the past two games. The competition at RB for LSU has been there since Miles took the head coaching job. It's a lot like Baylor and Texas Tech with their level of quarterback play they have a lot of competition at that position and they push each other to get better.
