    Yea, if LSU wanted to avoid student tree hugger demonstrations, they could have just poisoned them and blamed it on that idiot who poisoned Toomer's corner Oaks. That "backside of a lap" even lives around here now.

    Sad. Wish they could have planned a work-around. I was on campus two weeks ago and the oaks throughout are spectacular. Character, ambiance, shade, style, tradition--you get the whole package with an oak!

    Trees are replenishable. Think of them as kind of like a very slow growing crop. For everyone we harvest, we can plant new ones.
