Cracking the top 8 for a national seed may be a tall order. It all depends how well we do and how well the teams ahead of us do. Root for an early exit by UGA in the SEC Tournament. If we are the top ranked SEC school we have a good shot at hosting.
I'm just dumbfounded that this is the same team in danger of not making the SEC tourney about, oh, 18 games ago... Regardless of what happens next, WELL DONE TIGAS!!!

So do you think that if LSU won the SEC tourney and let's say beat Georgia in the final game they would still give the lone SEC top 8 seed to Georgia? I have a hard time buying that.
If LSU wins the SEC Tournament, it means nothing if they don't play well in the regional. so don't look too far ahead.
If LSU wins the SEC tournament, anything short of a World Series championship would be disappointing.
Easy fellar, since 2000 no SEC team has won it and only two have been runners-up so I'm not so sure it would be such a disappointment would it? In fact just getting there would be pretty dam amazing considering our current status with 2nd year coach, young players, etc. :thumb:
