The committment of Clements has raised LSU from #14 to #13. I figure a 5 Star recruit or three 4 Star recruits would put us in the top ten.

:geaux: I thought I saw where we were 11th in one service, maybe scout. In any case, I think we're well on our way to a Top 10 class if the coaching staff finishes strong. I would really like to see us get T. Edwards, D. Benton, Tolliver, and Patchan for sure. Those 4 plus some of the others LSU is in on should put us close to a Top 5.:crystal: :LSU231: :helmet: :champs:

Personally, I don't see a difference in these ranking. 10-20, all the same. 1-5. All the same.

You have a good class coming in...

Generally, I'd agree that there isn't that much difference between a top 5 class & a top 15 class. But the players that will boost our ranking are big time players & will make a difference on how this class is ultimately judged.

Except for last year (going back 4 years) the difference in the number 5 and number 15 team ranked by rivals was at least five recruits ranked 4 and 5 stars. I guess it would not be a big deal if you were ranked 15 one year, but if you were ranked 15 for 4 years that would be around 16 great recruits that a top 5 program would have over you. That could be big, depending on a whole lot of factors.
