I don't see TJ (or Alonzo Lawrence) coming here. I don't think the coaches are even going to push for either of them. We already have 4 CB commits, and we had 4 last year too.
As far as rivals is concerned he counted last year and will count again this year if he recommits. Now obviously he doesn't count twice toward our scholarships, but he counts toward both year's classes according to rivals. It isn't fair, but that is how they do it. He was a 4 star last year and now will count again as a 5 star.
I think Rivals does a re-ranking based on who actually makes it to campus, but their rankings on signing day includes all players as it is obviously not yet known who will or will not qualify. My question is whether Rivals is ever going to add Benton to our commit list... If he had qualified to start practice in the Spring they would have, but now that they haven't I'm not so sure.
Bama has been on Lawrence for a long time, if we get him it would be a shock and a major feather in the HAT.
I'm pretty sure Alonzo Lawrence is Alabama all the way, unless he really loves LSU and nobody knows it. TJ Bryant..I don't see that one either. Maybe if PJ hadn't committed.
