    The Tigers continue to rise in the ranks of the 2008 recruiting class. With the commitments of Patrick Johnson and Tyler Edwards, Rivals.com now places them in 7th place. And the beat goes on.

    This is probably around where LSU will finish, even though we'll end up with a couple more 4 stars.

    Benton will be a 5 star and isn't counted yet on Rivals.

    If he has to spend another year at Hargrave he won't be. This year's big disappointment is that two 5 Star commitments may not even count toward this year's class.

    Benton would have counted once last year and once this year. The only 5 star commits other then Benton were Chad Jones and now PJ, who will be at LSU next week.

    It's pretty evident Les Miles is a tremendous recruiter. For LSU to finish with a rank fo 6 or 7 in a down year like this for the state of LA is great. LSU fans should not be worried about Saban at Bama overtaking LSU because LSU won't be experiencing a drop in talent anytime soon with Les Miles as coach.

    What? Is it looking like he won't qualify? I thought Benton was going to be on campus and practicing this spring. What happened?

    If we get Benton and we get Brown, LSU will finish no worse than 3rd.
