I agree. Dandydon put it best, we're not strong enough to be a #2 class, but we're certainly not #11 either. We are somewhere right in the middle (#6/#7). And that I agree with.
Isn't Max a Louisiana native? He's always shown us some favoritism, IMO. But no doubt, he's one of the best there is, just never attached himself to a major website the way some of the others have.
For class ratings, #2 seems high at first, but it really depends on what criteria are we ranking them. Is it, which class will product the most draft picks/All-conference players? Is it which class will have the most players get immediate PT? Is it which class has the most polished players? Or is the the class with the most potential? LSU's class is definitely not the most polished & won't get the quickest PT. It's a raw group that will take a while to see the field, but it will produce some fantastic players down the line. In that regard, I could see this as a #2 class.
