So I have a major dilemma. Sept 13 I am gonna be stuck going to the freaking bama Usm game(wife and all her family are bama fans and Usm fans so its a group going and she laid a big guilt trip on me bc she has been to several lsu games but I've never been to a bama game with her when they weren't playing lsu) so I am trying to find a way to listen to the lsu game while I'm stuck in that dreadful place. Tried searching but I haven't found a radio station over there that would be broadcasting it. I know the game is on espnu so was hoping maybe an espn radio station or affiliate would be broadcasting it. Anyone know of anything like that? If not will just keep up with it on espn gamecast on the phone.....and I won't even mention that this little family trip happened to fall on opening day of our dove season but I'm not missing opening morning. Should be plenty time to drive up after the morning shoot.
LSU plays Monroe. We are lucky that is even on TV somewhere. DVR the game and fast forward through all of the inept 3 and outs and just watch the scoring drives. Have fun with your Bama inlaws.
Here it is fella. #1. Find a head Dr. you got some issues. #2. Find a family video #3. Rent Ferris Bueller's Day Off #4. Take copious notes #5. Have fun while the rest of those gumps are in bds cause you will have hell to pay when it all comes down.
From your smartphone, try this link. www.freefootballradio.com There's a one hour difference in the kicks so you should be able to listen to 60-75% of the first half of your game. FWIW, the WatchESPN app works pretty well outside the stadium and depending on your carrier the signal inside the stadium isn't bad either. (AT&T customers have been the most vocal complainers.)
Does LSU allow audio streaming of games now? In 2012 on the Saturday of the aTm game I had to drive from Baltimore to New Jersey. It was a day game and WWL is only clear channel nationwide after dark. I tried to listen on the Tune-In app by accessing 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge but while the game was going on all I could hear was 98.1s regular programming of classic rock music. LSU didn't allow audio steaming.
I would think if the LSU Sports Radio Network wasn't operational any longer there would be a fairly significant amount of reports concerning that news, right? Worst case scenario is trying a ULM feed for the game. I'm sure they have a half of a dozen or so as well.
It was operational over the airwaves but not on the internet. I have seen the same thing for LSU baseball when could access both
