Moreover, I find it very far-fetched that anyone besides the head coach would make such a proclamation publicly.
Did anybody see channel 5 wbrz sports at 6...They had "Duck Season" concerning Shep i may be over reacting but I think just like people say watch what we say on message boards but media whether newspapers or tv should as well and imo that was dumb and classless. Are they lacking in news stories that bad. Just saying
Are you serious? You cannot possible quote what I posted...and respond with that...like we disagree. If we are up by 4 TDs, of course Lee/Shep would get the ball. I have said that repeatedly in this very thread. That is NOT "significant" nor "relevant" to the outcome of the game/season. - I think some of you WANT there to be Lee haters...makes for ridiculous long threads. There are few Lee haters. There are just some realists that believe he will see limited time in mop up duty...which you pretty much just said yourself. What you said is in no way different than what I've been saying...or what most "Lee haters" have been saying.
I was just trying to defend Lee. Dude's been slamming Lee for a while, but I didn't mean to piss in your cereal. I guess you didn't understand what I was saying to someone else. It's cool. I learned my lesson, no more opinions from this guy.
Sorry. Didn't mean to strike at you. But I do mean everything I posted. - I realize it has been suggested ok awesome may be an imposter, but seems silly considering the number of posts and the length of time he has here. I didn't read all of his posts, but I agree that...IF Lee is the backup...I don't wanna see him on the field until it's out of hand. Again, if he's on the field in a tight spot...it's a bad sign for LSU...it means either JJ is hurt or is not getting the job done. Either way...bad deal for LSU.
no big deal, i just don't like my words twisted around. i don't think he's a bandwagonner or an imposter, just needs to have some faith and pride in a team/coach he supports. but it's really none of my business other than I think Lee deserves credit for what he has done and how he's handled it. I agree 100% about JJ being the starter. I stated that in an earlier post, because I like what he brings to the table. I just don't think we should treat Lee like he's got the plague, either.
I was daydreaming that we were up 42-0 vs Florida and Les Miles called me out of the stands...told me to suit up...put me in and...pulled me right after we went up 49-0 so he could put Red in at QB. (I've been reading the "summer of love concert" thread in round table and I think I'm having flashbacks from bad acid on the 40th anniversary of Woodstock.)
