    Thank you sir.

It's morons like Guilbleaux that get people all riled up. He runs a story today (which I refuse to link ANYWHERE) exclaiming the offense lit up the defense, touting the 300 yds passing and 200 yds rushing our defense gave up to an offense that didn't come CLOSE to those numbers last year. Ridiculously irresponsible reporting. As if yesterday's 100 play scrimmage with an LSU offense on the field for every snap is representative of an actual game. :rolleye33: But if people don't think about what they're reading, or if the writer leaves out the important aspects like "100 plays", they jump to conclusions.

(not saying that's what happened here to anyone...:yelwink2:)

As BHelm stated, this secondary is SICK. There is no reason to be concerned about THAT group. And the LBs seem to be better than I thought they would be. Scheme will have a lot to do with that, and Chavis knows how to scheme.

That wasn't nearly as ridiculous as Guilbleauxs. In fact, that one was kinda bland...basically quoting Miles, even after acknowledging in the very first sentence of the article that Miles doesn't say chit about those kinda things.

Guilbleaux was touting the offense as the next Oregon 2010. 300 yds passing!!! 200 yds rushing!!! 500 yds total offense!!! Totally irresponsible 'journalism'. Propaganda. Hack.

I was at Fan Day and we went to the QB table and the DB table. As far as I'm concerned the secondary is as deep as I have ever seen. From one end of the (long) table to the other we had db's with recognizable names (meaning they have played last year). I am very confident we will be OK with our secondary.

As far as what happened in the scrimmage I would say this is not an indication of how we will play. Our db like to separate the receiver from the ball, now it wouldn't make since to go full speed after our wide outs and hurt someone before the season. I think at full speed and full contact our db will rattle some teeth.:D

Do any of you here think Jarret Lee has a chance to start this season? I read the practice reports and he always does quite well.

If Jefferson gets injured, Lee could start. I doubt Les would start Mettenberger on the road in a huge game.
