I'll be glad when Bertman is out of the office. Over 3 years that is over a 100% increase for my families seats in Tradition fund payment. Yes, some increase is needed, but that much is ridiculous.

I would do some research and compare LSU's ticket prices to the other top programs in the SEC and nation-wide before being overly critical.

When it is basically a 40+% increase of each individual seat between the "donation" and game increases within 3 years, I will call bs on it. Inflation is roughly 4% per year and the increase of coaches salaries for THIS ONE YEAR will come down to approximately 3-4 million when you factor in all the sports. LSU makes 3-4 million per home game. As such, the remaining increase is NOT needed.

Damn, crystal is getting awfully expensive. At least one BOS member, Louis Lambert, said he will not vote to approve this plan.

With all the flipping price increases, it would be nice if we would strickly stick with seven home games and start scheduling some freaking home-and-away series with respectable programs!! :angryfire

I know that price increases comes with the territory, and that's not really my beef. But why the hell can programs like Ohio State, Texas, USC, and countless others schedule big out-of-conference series and we can't? I'm not talking about scheduling a killer line up of 4 BCS OOC games a year, I'm just talking about 1 a year. We could keep our home-and-home with Tulane, and schedule road trips to big schools on the years that Tulane plays in Tiger Stadium. Seems simple to me.

Bertman said back in November they were going to bring the prices up.. The days of LSU fans being content with a team that goes 8-4 from time to time is over.. He basically put it like this, "If you want an elite top-tier program, you gotta pay for it."

i'm in the end zone, so mine is not too dramatic, but i still think its a bit overboard considering my tickets go up by more than the claimed "inflation"...LSUSPORTS.net article

I really really wish they'd just up the ticket price instead of this TAF crap so i could sell them on the street legally for what I actually pay for them.

i tell you what. we better stop losing to unranked teams if he increases 4 straight years!
there is no way that i'd pay to sit on the sidelines. i might have to move from the endzone to the upper deck so i can afford going to games.
