And Baylor was leading the Big XII South up until Saturday. TCU is a great football team and will be a handful for whoever they play.
Yes, but obviously overranked, considering they are 4-4. My point is that TCU nor Boise has played an equal schedule to some of the teams that they will stay in front of. A 1 loss SEC school should not be held back by either of them. An ACC or Big East and possibly a Pac 10, yes I give ya that.
The only criticism I have of TCU's schedule is their game against Tennessee Tech, but I don't know how far back that game was scheduled. Their other three OOC opponents were Oregon St, Baylor, and SMU. Assuming we aren't eligible to play in the BCSCG, and either Oregon or Auburn stumble I'd like to see TCU in the big game.
Even if we are sitting there at 11-1, AU stumbles and falls losing to Bama and the SECCG, you would think that TCU would deserve to go in ahead of us. Ok, given our past play I might agree, but lets say over the next 3 games LSU starts to stomp teams, taking OM and Ark to the wood shed. What if UNC and WVU both end up both ranked again, and all of the current ranked teams we have played stay ranked. That would put us at 6-1 against the top 25 final reg season rankings. We will have played 7 top 25 teams compared to their 3. You still think TCU deserves to go in ahead of that? Now I know all of that is a long shot, but what if that is the scenario come the end of the season?
No one is saying that's not the case. I'm not sure I'd like to see LSU play them in a bowl game. But, if TCU was in the SEC and we were playing them in game 7, bring it on.
