1. Oregon 2. Auburn 3. TCU (closes the gap significantly over Auburn) 4. Boise State 5. LSU Unless the human polls just eff this thing up, which I don't think will happen.
It's getting crazy...TCU just solidified their spot today. I can see LSU moving ahead of Boise with 3 more wins.
Yeah, it all depends on style points from here on out. We can't come out looking stupid on offense next week vs UL-M and win 20-3. If we do, we don't deserve to be considered for the NC. We need to put up 41 points minimum. Beat Ole Miss by at least 14 and come away with a hard fought win on the road vs Arkansas, and we take our chances from there. Crazy thing is Auburn could lose their only game in the SEC title game and slip behind us in the BCS, especially if they get beaten badly (10-14 or more points).
Oregon vs Oregon State Something tells me we'll be up late watching that one to see if we go to the national title game or not.
I don't think we are serious contenders anyway but hell...why not us? I think Auburn has a loss coming...possibly in the SECCG but how likely would it be for LSU to win out and TCU or Boise slipping? I'm betting the BCS pollsters are NOT wanting any of that. LSU winds up second in the BCS computers and didn't play for their CG.
By the way...can you change your deal to say "Just Beat ULM", the "Just Beat OM", then "Just Beat Arky", etc....?
I'm for anything that would help kill the GD BCS. I think having 4 unbeaten teams and shutting 2 of them out because the computers don't love them would be just what the BCS deserves.
I think it would be hilarious if Oregon and TCU lose somewhere and LSU and Auburn play for the crystal football. They say home field is worth a TD in the SEC so would we tie on a neutral field? Edit: Forgot about Boise. I would also like to see TCU or Boise play Auburn and get beat by 30 or more, then everyone will shut up.
