Will supposedly give Miles his decision tomorrow.

I think he was supposed to interview today.

I will let you know what I hear.

I would be elated if we get him.

Derrick Bryant would make a great nickelback - he was the 4 star out of Georgia.

I didn't relist the projections I expected to stay the same, which includes Chad Jones at FS.

Doesn't anyone else see time for Danny McCray next season? I would think that he'd be taking over at the Free Safety position considering he was second on the depth chart this season. I would love to see Chad Jones play over him, but I get the feeling he'll be there. Even if he's not at FS, wouldn't he be our NB or at least Dime Back?

Bryant was a 3 star on rivals.

Taylor was much much more highly touted. In the top 100. And he was being talked about in summer camp how well he was performing. I never heard anything about Bryant.

Im excited about Hatcher. From the little I did see of him I thought he looked better than ANY other S. He was in position and also made the plays. I thought Taylor, Coleman, and Jones were all major weaknesses this year. Often out of position, also missing a lot of tackles.

FWIW, McCray and Coleman looked great in spot duty too. I like what I see out of Hatcher so far but people have said that about the other guys before....Our safety play does need to improve next season for us to be good defensively but I still like the upperclassmen we have there.

I know Miles likes to give the advantage to upperclassmen, but Coleman, Jones and McCray were a big disappointment this season. The younger guys should get the same opportunity to become starters. If the young guys outperform the upperclassmen then so be it.

Hatcher appears to be fundamentally sound.
