12-0 conf champ top 10 UCF vs non-champ 10-2 LSU, I’m ok with LSU not getting in. Team 1&2 Top 12 teams if conference not represented already, champions first Top 12 teams remaining I think that covers it.
If thst actually happened you would be just as pissed off about it as the rest of us. Howvcan you possibly justify a team who had play nobody but creampuffs being more deserving than an SEC West 10 game winner?
Actually I'm not really a fan for 16 team play off. That is the only way that just makes sense to me. I am quite happy with the 4 team play off... for now. that was just a scenario I came up with a couple years ago when I had a friend that was really wanting a 16-team playoff.
I suspect 16 would just create a rematch of the P5 conf winners/losers, further diluting the conf champ. Bama says high...
LSU is #5 in today's ESPN Power Rankings: http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...ankings-anyone-challenge-alabama-crimson-tide 5. LSU (6-1, 3-1 SEC) Week 7 result: defeated Georgia 36-16 What's next: vs. Mississippi State (Saturday, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN) What a way to rebound from such a disappointing road loss to Florida, beating Georgia in every way. The story of this win revolves around the way the Tigers played in the trenches, where they slowed down Georgia's powerful run game while clearing the way for 275 yards rushing. Despite the loss to Florida, the Tigers have the most impressive wins of any team in the country.
I might be emotional but we had opportunities on the field and dropped the ball. I think being more inclusive is better for college football. Bring Cinderella to college football, that would make football even better.
Some question if bye is beneficial (long bye can make teams rusty) since there is already a gap between regular season and playoff. Six is a good number.
