The Texans and TM7... http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexan...hieu-former-jaguars-fb-greg-jones/#more-35664
People keep talking about the Saints picking up Mingo, or TM7, but BL is who I would like to see them grab.
Bennie can play in the 3-4 or the 4-3, Michael Brockers was another. Thats the thing about LSU some will start out as DE and grow into a DT. Some come in as a DE and LSU gets them into the DT position. Brick does a good job of getting guys ready for the Pro game. He and Lavar Edwards are two to keep an eye on, both have a good shot in the NFL. Remember, Lavar played in every game this year, an starting 6 of them. Not forgetting, Josh Downs also played in every game, starting 10 of them. Back to Lavar, the start of the season he was seen to be a UFA, after this year and what he did at the Pro camp, he has to be seen as a 4-5 rounder, too many teams are looking for a player like him. I remember him out of high school......could have played a number of positions...... Best of luck to all the Tigers...
Wish Shep nothing but the best. I hope he finds his niche on some NFL team. I always though he should have been looked at as a DB but what do I know.
He may find himself playing a lot of ST at first. It's too bad they don't have the NFLE anymore, because it would be a good place for him to get some reps at DB.
I'm convinced that Edwards will be one of the picks in this year's draft who goes from a mid to late rounder to being one of the surprises of the draft. He's flying under most people's radar and if he played at USC, Notre Dame, or Bama the "draft experts" would be fawning all over him. I'd love to see Logan still available when the Saints pick in the 3rd, but I just don't see it. I'm curious to see how many Tigers go in the 1st round. It would not be out of the realm of possibilities to see 4 LSU players selected in round one. Minter and Reid really helped themselves at the pro day. A team like the Ravens might be looking at those 2 players as their top 2 when round one ends.
