Minter helped himself but I bet he is like "why did I run the forty a 2nd time"?

    4.67 then 4.76

Although I'm only basing this on a couple of random quotes/articles, my impressions of Reid and Minter are that they are extremely high character guys. When you combine that with their on the field production, I'm guessing NFL teams can envision them being leaders of their LB/secondary groups for years to come.

Wouldn't be the first time Teo was misled by supposed people interested in him. Drafting Teo would also come with the hoopla of potentially drafting the first openly gay NFL player too...just something for the owners to think about

A few notes from Pro day.

Shep was asked by a few teams to go through DB drills, his brother Nick was a DB in high school when Russell played QB. Shep will be asked to play gunner by Pro teams, something hes very good at. The open field tackles, he can do, look at what got Danny McCray into the NFL.

Many have the best Safety in the class as Kenny Vaccaro, with Reid not far behind. Eric had a very good showing and many teams took note. The thing about Reid, he didn't have the off the field problems of Vaccaro. A couple other Safeties in the class Elam and Rambo also had off the field problems. Eric did very well in the DB drills, this is another part that stood out. Some of the reports out were that Eric was a little stiff dropping into coverage. Many teams are in need of a SS and FS, he can play both positions and has played both at LSU. A physical Safety that plays like a Linebacker, a guy that can cover the TE's.

    A couple more that may have turned a few heads...Tharold Simon's 4.50-second 40-yard dash and Michael Ford's 4.4 40 and 39.5-inch vertical leap.

Interesting stuff on Mingo, Minter, Reid & TM7 but what about Big Sam and all the others, how did they do? Also RS at DB does he have a shot?

Mingo is the one to keep an eye on. He has done a good job and looks to be one of the better picks in the draft with a ton of upside. Rated above him in the draft is Jarvis Jones, out of UGA. Jones has the same problem that took Cooper Manning (Peyton and Eli's older brother) out of football, Spinal Stenosis (Narrowing of the Spinal Column). Though not as bad as Cooper. Best of luck to Jarvis, hope he gets to play many years in the NFL...
