Thanks for the update Clair. On the issue of pessimism. When you go on the internet you're going find what your looking for. If you are hyper sensitive to negative talk about LSU, then that's all your going to notice. There are plenty of positive fans. I have noticed that every sky-is-falling slam is almost always followed up by someone positive. It's a discussions and people have a right to their opinions.
"Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." Lincoln said it first, I'm saying it today.
Thanks for the report, Clair. I'm happy to hear that our team is seemingly more focused. On paper, we should have what we need to be successful; we just haven't put it all together, yet. And we NEED to put it all together right now. The playing around time is over.
Seriously what is wrong with criticism? Everything i have read on here for the most part, is that people are happy with 3-0, but there are things on both sides of the ball that need to be worked on. Who are these mysterious fans who are calling for Les Miles' head, saying he sucks as a coach? I have seen one thread that said the O Line sucked, but they have sucked at times. Do they suck, no i don't think they do, but no one can sit here and say that this team has played up to its potential. Its a work in progress yes, but what fun would this message board be if it were all cinnamon and spring daises.
LOL good post, highly accurate. :hihi: you have to understand the holier than thou, pump purple sunshine up your azz, we dont want to talk nuts and bolts of LSU football type crowd. if a drop of rain hits their parade the claws come out and their eyes well up. I look at it like this, Ive spent enough money @ LSU and I cheer as loud as anyone, if I want to critisize something, I ignore the daises and mow right over them, their lil internet egos usually grow back
There is a big difference between the posts that honestly point out the flaws in LSU's team in a respectful way and the people come across like they take glee in LSU's misfortune, like part of them always wished for that (or they have just temporarily lost their minds). I don't know any regular here that comes across like they take glee in LSU's misfortune, but I'm starting to wonder about LaSalle. I'm starting to wonder if the guy is a huge Miami fan that has little to zero interest in the LSU program except for how it's great to be along for the ride when the flagship school of his state turned out to field a football program that rose to the level of those Miami teams he is in love with. Or, could be he has a chip on his shoulder against LSU because he wasn't able to get into LSU. Or maybe he could have gone to LSU, but decided not to, and now he regrets that. Etc, etc, etc. As for you, I've never seen anything to indicate any kind of anti-LSU vibe, so don't be aligning yourself with LaSalle.
 One guy I would like to give props to is this guy. The guy just thinks Miles is ugly to him or something and has a hard time not realizing that Miles is at least a very good football coach. But he tries to relate to the rest of us regulars that think LSU's program is in good shape. And I respect him for that.
