I have heard over the last year that staying and finishing school was important to his family and he would have the support to do it from his family. The family is on the right track because his life was turned upside down when his twins were born and being able to support them not only for his football years but beyond is important to them. However, a better than expected draft grade could change those plans.
During the game I noticed a finger taped, found out that he lost a small part of his finger. Didn't slow him down
I still can't figure out why teams take tailbacks high in the draft. I would never take one higher than the 4th round unless there is just some adrian peterson out there.
You never know. Loston may shock a few in the draft this year. We'll see. Remember 2009, first round 3rd pick, you never know. More info...... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...derclassmen-will-play-their-last-game-vs-iowa
No you don't buy why risk a first or 2nd round pick on a tailback when it's been proven time and time again you can find real value at that position late in drafts and even in free agency post draft.
Tyson Jackson was being projected 1st round pretty much that entire season. Now the fact he went 3rd overall may have raised a few eyebrows. But to compare that situation to Loston? No way in hell. I don't see the usefulness of Loston. His ability to just knock the snot out of people was taken away from him this season and he became arguably one of the worst safeties in college. Not sure I've seen so many ole's in my life. No instincts, takes bad angles. Just a mess.
