So we have two big movers, Speedy Noil has gone from 71% to 88% LSU, while Hootie Jones has slipped from 95 % down to 80 %. Leonard Fournette has edged up from 92 % to 95 % LSU.
islstl I sure as hell like what you are posting and hope it pans out. Even if we miss on CR(who I believe we may flip) we still may have one of the best classes of all time.
Hootie, I hope, will see a chance to be an instant impact player at LSU. Safety and defensive tackle are two great needs. Loston did not travel to MSU game today. We needed safeties this year.
We have 7 or 8 safeties on the roster along with a couple of other big db's that might be working out at safety. How many can we have at those positions? We need to field an entire team. I think lb and wr are the only positions where we have more.
Not at the skill level of recent Tigers like Chad Jones, Eric Reid, and Brandon Taylor. Last 2 years LSU has not gotten its top safety prospects -- Landon Collins and Priest Willis. Imagine if we had and then added Hootie to this class.
Landon isn't doing much at Alabama, other than maybe a special teams ace. He appears to have been greatly overrated. I do agree with you that it appears we may have whiffed at the safety spots in the last couple of recruiting seasons. I am still crossing my fingers that Corey Thompson ultimately becomes a fixture there. He has great size. Martin and Eugene are pretty bad right now.
He will be getting a lot more playing time now with Clinton-Dix suspended. So I guess we'll see if we missed out or lucked out like with McKnight. I agree about Martin and Eugene
