Then people will call for Miles' head for letting recruits go to USC. BTW, please prove we would have beaten Bama on Jan. 9 had JJ not been the QB.
No one said we would have won, but at least that would have given LSU a chance. Miles was one of only a handful of people on the planet that saw it different. It was a very bad decision, but he has shown the ability to learn from his mistakes. Hiring Cam was a huge step in the right direction.
Especially since it is "alleged" that many on the staff were asking to put Lee in the game and ol water head would not budge.
Pretyy much everyone we have coming in for visits the next 2-3 weeks. I will get a list out soon. Usual Suspects we have been discussing. Dupre, Young, Carter, Adoree, Vanentine, Speaks, Kelly, McDowell, LMFAO, Clark. There are others too but these are the top targets for now.
Everybody I have listed on the "Next 11 targets" in the OP. Will be interesting to see who actually shows up for their scheduled visits. Nothing is guaranteed, obviously. Bhelm, I assume you mean Deondre Clark? Although currently a commit, he is by far the shakiest of our committments, so that will be an important visit for LSU to try and retain him.
It's been a weird recruiting season. I almost feel like on signing day we're going to be trying to switch guys who are pledged to McNeese St. because we're whiffing everywhere.
Not really, this is recruiting every year. Still a bunch of names on the board. One of the lowest rated OL a few years back, started at RT this year. Same was said about Mills, who came in as a TF, rated low, but has played big. Talk with coaches from smaller schools, they hope and pray at times trying to hold on to players. Good thing, McNeese never sends players into the NFL.
