Well, if you believe the services, Jackson is better than Brown. You made a pretty good argument in another thread about Valentine being a better fit in LSU's defense than Willis. Not sure I'm buying Iheanacho better than Noil though. With Quinn already on board, adding Dupre would put me in a "so what?" attitude for Noil. If we miss on Dupre, Iheanacho feels more like a consolation prize.
Well, for many on here, that is not good enough. I want to finish #1, but will be happy with a top 5.
It was simply a missed opportunity to shine like no other day in recruiting history for any team yesterday. That's why the it was so upsetting for a lot of people, including myself. And especially for those that had followed things the entire recruiting year. It wasn't like we were "hoping" for these guys to pick LSU, we expected them to pick LSU (well I expected Noil to pick A&M, but a lot of other people felt good he would be the 5th of 5 to say yes to LSU yesterday). For those on the outside looking in, I can see why you would have the attitude you are having (not you specifically). Can't remember who it was in the thread we had going during the game, but they said that it always ends up coming up way short than what you're projecting or expecting, and in most cases it's the truth and the way that recruiting works and forever will be that way.
Kids should be allowed to SIGN a binding LOI any time after football season junior year. It should be national signing season and not national signing day !! Do you know how much extra money schools have to spend visiting and "showing love" to recruits after they committed early? Not to mention the fact that when a kid commits to end their recruitment...it really never ends. I'm sure any corner attorney can draw up a LOI that lets schools rescind if players get badly injured and kids can rescind if there's a coaching change.
Agreed. From a talent comparison, the difference between the number one class and the number five class is splitting hairs anyway.
You just described what rivals and 247sports do when a player commits or decommits from the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Yep, been seeing this. A kid in Tx is better than one in Ga, that's better than one in Fla. It's what sells. An people pay
