I know that Brown and family confirmed with LSU last night. Noil and family this morning. Can't confirm on Willis what or when he said anything.

Adams within the last week and Fournette for a while now.

When all is said and done, we have to remember these are 17 and 18 year old HS kids. Anything or anyone can sway or influence them. Not an exact science, this recruiting game.

That said, Landon Collins really has a bug up his arse about LSU, doesn't he?

Makes one wonder what changed their minds, unless they were really never LSU locks to begin with.

Don't we also have an elite corner already committed for next year in Tolliver? Combine that with young corners in Robinson and White that are both either RS or true Freshman. . .maybe that played into Browns decision? Maybe the dude just saw an easier path at Bama. Either way I think we will be ok at the position, I'd just rather him not go to Bama.

The only one that really hurt today in my eyes was Willis because it was SUCH a huge need. The others I would have been very happy to get but I kind of understand them.

As for Brown it sounds like playing time and quicker path to NFL. I don't like our chances at flipping him in that case. Sounds like track is more of a secondary goal but I want clarification on that because he has been talking about Rio for hurdles.

We played somewhere around 14 players from last year class, a little more with the Red-Shirts coming into play next year. As for DT, we signed 3 if you count Lacouture. Gilmore and Bain were the other two, from the word I'm getting both are coming along fine. Its the hits of the OL on a DT in games. Tough for True Freshmen to come in at that position, LSU rolled the dice this year at the position, it should payoff next year.

I like the WR position for now, this again with the RS players.

The CB's that will be signed this year are first class, the return of RR and White, looks great for next year.

Yet another bad piece of information we were hearing? I mean that was the forefront of his recruitment is all we heard, that Track was just as important (if not more important) as football.

Crazy to see that now that may not be the case.

That really sucks. Playing games like that is messed up.

That info was coming straight from Tony and family for over a year. I think it is more likely that they recently had a change of philosophy on the track stuff. With the health issue and support needed then NFL in 3 years looks more attainable then making millions in track. And if he is that good at hurdles then he doesn't need to be on an elite team.

Lacouture is way too small and plays way too small to play DT. Don't know what they are going to do with him.

So 2 pure DTs and now we have only 1 this class. We need to pull in at least 1 more and preferably 2.
