I don't know if this has been written about but I was thinking about how much our trip to the 03-04 championship would help this year. (Experience/leadership wise) I could count eight players that were on the 03-04 team but I don't think any of them had actual playing time in that game. The season we won it was '02-'03 with the NC game in Jan '03. None of our guys were there as far as I know.
Dorsey was a freshman the following year. Committed with the class of 2004 in Feb following the game. He was in the class with Doucet, Hester, Herm, Chevis, Steltz, etc.

Nobody remembers how damn good Pittman was as a true freshman?
