Someone, don't remember who, asked when was the last time someone from LSU didn't play in the Superbowl and it got me thinking ... how many LSU Tigers have won Superbowls. Well, here's the list: Joseph Addai - 2006 Colts Rohan Davey - 2003 & 2004 Patriots Alan Faneca - 2005 Steelers Kevin Faulk - 2001, 2003 & 2004 Patriots Randall Gay - 2004 Jarvis Green - 2003 & 2004 Patriots Marquise Hill - 2004 Patriots Greg Jackson - 1990 Giants Tory James -1998 Broncos Kerry Jenkins - 2002 Buccaneers Brian Kinchen - 2003 Patriots Leonard Marshall - 1986 & 1990 Giants Anthony McFarland - 2006 Colts * not sure if he was on the Bucs team. Fred Miller - 1970 Colts Remi Prudhomme - 1969 Chiefs Johnny Robinson - 1969 Chiefs Jim Taylor - 1966 Packers Billy Truax - 1971 Cowboys To take it even further, there have only been 5 Superbowl winning teams (1968 Jets,1973 Dolphins, 1988 49ers, 1989 49ers & 1992 Cowboys) that has not had a player from Louisiana or a Louisiana College. Pretty impressive.
Booger was traded to the Colts before the trade deadline in 2006, he played 11 games with the Colts the Superbowl year.
The site I went to didn't have him on their Superbowl Roster, was he hurt? Just like Brandon Stokely, played for the Colts, just not in the SB.
It looks like he was injured for the end of the 2002 season, if that was what you were asking about. Link
