I could see the Saints taking a LB and WR early, but if a good player on their board drops to them. One mock draft has La'el going with the Saints with the 13th pick.

The Browns are looking to move up and trade for the second pick with the Titans. Remember the Browns have two picks in the first round (12th and 19th). The Browns are one of the teams looking to move up, there are a few more. A few teams are looking to drop back, depth in this draft.

Some are saying that both La'el and Jalen could drop out of the first round, the last time an LSU player wasn't taken in the first round, 2010, before that was 2003.

Todd McClure and his son Maverick are at the draft, like I said before, Todd will announce the Falcons 2nd round pick.
Todd was drafted in the 7th round, 236 players were taken before him, I wonder how many were still in the NFL when he retired 13 years later? Gonna guess not too many.

Why do you think La'El will drop? Because of this police inquiry?

Many are putting out they will take him off their board. Too many blowing smoke. I talked with a NFL scout yesterday, he doesn't see him dropping far. Cam Cameron has said that he has gotten a number of calls from NFL team about La'el.

I was eating with a college coach one time, he received a call from a team rep asking about a former LSU player. His reply, you have to keep a thumb on him and put a bunch of incentives in his contract. Kind of general things, but they knew where he was coming from. He told me he had to be honest, if not, he'd never get a call again, they value his opinion.

The supplemental draft will practically guarantee that he won't be a first rounder and possibly not even a second. Maybe he should just take his chances and hope that at least one team keeps him on their first round board.

He's going top 18. I figured I'd hedge on 15. I dont even know the order.

A couple more LSU players that could get drafted, at least make it into a NFL camp:

    Jermauria Rasco *
    Evan Washington
    Hoko Fanaika
    Elliott Porter
    Travis Dickson
    Ronald Martin*
    Kenny Hilliard
    D J Welter
    Connor Neighbors*
    Logan Stokes

    * These guys have the best shot at getting drafted, but as always, just need one team to like a player. When getting drafted late in rounds, sometimes its better to be undrafted, many times you can find a spot better than getting drafted. These three guys if not drafted, won't have to wait long for a invite into an NFL camp. Martin and Rasco have the best shot at being drafted.
