Seatbelt requirements and other regulations have driven driving deaths down drastically.

 

Brick, bottle, knife, and bat are all less lethal than guns.

I mean if you’re going to argue that, it’s really hard to have a discussion. Not saying those things can’t kill (so can a hand or foot, water, air, etc), just that they’re less likely.

Apples - oranges comparison imo.

 

If guns were totally restricted we’d have a lot less deaths related to violence, imo. I’m not advocating that, I don’t see it ever happening, but I think theoretically it’s true.
