LSU picks up first national championship of the year

This football web site names its national championship before the bowls are played, and no surprise here but the Tigers won it. I guess we should be expecting this “Slabby award” trophy? Can our AD carry this 10 feet???

Although this is a joke thread, I will begin my rant now.

Every year there is ONE national champion and ONE national championship.

No crystal, no claims.

 

I feel like Notre Dame.

 

No offense, but that recognition is on the level of USCs 8 1/2 X 11" certificate from the AP sportswriters in 2003. :lol:

 

According to that site, they've been doing this since 2004. So far, they have only correctly predicted 1 out of 3 (in 2004 they correctly predicted USC, but in 2005 they picked USC instead of Texas, and in 2006 they predicted Ohio State instead of Florida).

 

I am guessing they learned their lesson :huh:

Well, hell, theres no point of us even playing the game now...just give us the trophy and wait till next year...BTW, OSU in 2006? Well, just goes to show you how serious this all is.
