What position on the field was Richard Dickson playing when he caught his first of 2 touchdowns to even the score at 10 all? Hint: Gary Crowton is some kind of wizard!
damn, too easy Ciron Black was lined up as a wideout in that bunch formation. It forced Heyward to moved over there as well as shade Laringitis way over to that side of the field. For good measure, we had Byrd out wide left so as to not make it obvious. God, I love Crowton!
yeah i thought it was the best play called all night. i had to rewatch it like 3 times. 5 wide, diamond on right and single wr on left, disckson at LT. great stuff, OSU shoulda burned a TO.
The quick snap was crucial. I agree. Crowton thinks of everything. The Fox broadcast almost missed the play.
yeah as i hit "post" on that i realized that we did snap it pretty quicky giving them little time to react. all part if the wiz's master plan. fox missed lots of crucial replays.
Question from someone who never played organized football -- in that formation, how is a lineman an eligible receiver? Wizard, indeed! :thumb: :geauxtige
technically, our LT moved out to the right side with the wideouts.....I don't think there are rules as to where your lineman have to line up....just so you have 7 players on the line (boy do we know about that damn rule)...I think that is the only prerequisite so the beauty of it is that Dickson didn't even have to report in as an eligible receiver Ciron Black could not have caught that pass without reporting in, however. I think that's correct....anybody else?
