Absolutely right. If you check out rivals commitment list page, they have a second page that shows which coach they were actually recruited by. Stacy Searles has quite a few attributed to his name. We have a tremendous recruiting staff. I dont think its fair to compare this years class to last years. Last year, we had a very limited number of scholarships to give. We only had 13 commitments last year, but we still managed to finish with the 22nd best class in the nation (according to rivals). Im not sure how many we have to give now, but we have already given 13, and they are looking pretty good so far.
Tonights dominant defensive performance vs Florida might have landed us a couple of commitments over the weekend--specifically defensive guys. Hopefully some corner backs were in attendance. With the exception of fumbles and INT's, (both of which were made by running backs and QB's--positions we're pretty much set at--with what we currently have and with what we have already received in terms of commitments), we really had a good game-plan on both sides of the ball. We put up almost 400 yards of offense vs the Gators and we held them to UNDER 200 yards! (when was the last time we saw THAT happen!?!?!?)
There were rumblings we'd get the commit of one of the Georgia LBs this weekend, surely that performance will help.
