Why don’t we run more WR sweeps? That is a play that Shep is very dangerous running.

Whatever happened to Shep in the return game?

If he doesn’t fit at WR, where do we use him?

I am behind you a 100% but be careful, having any opinion other than LSU is the best team in the land and can beat anybody will get you labeled as a negatiger.

It is a sin to speak reality on this board. Positive comments only!

There's another website for tiger fans where you sit around a campfire holding hands singing cumbaya.

    If that's your bag.

At what point do we finally accept Shep may have been overrated ?
Everyone is waiting for this amazing explosion from Shep. Because he was our prize recruit. I am not saying he is a bad player. But is he the best player on our offense, a game changer. I wouldnt put him in the top 3 of our offensive game changers. But everyone has been waiting now for 3 years to see the next percy harvin. I have to admit I am about to turn the porch light off on him. I dont dislike the guy, he has been an amazing proponent of LSU and loves being an LSU tiger. But has he really had any impact on our offense. Do our opponents scheme around Shep ? Do they have someone wear his jersey in their practices so they can mimic his offensive explosions. I really think not..... Aside from the occasional big play? Sure there have been flashes.
I hope I am wrong but OBJ seems to be one i would rather see with the ball.

I think that hope for Shep is basically gone, but if he ever does bust out, there will always be a few who say they never doubted and told you so.

I think hands down OD is one of our best play makers on the field. He is a true WR and is a natural

I think 10 pts is a little bit too generous. Regardless of their QB Florida still has a high powered offense with Demps and Rainey. We will have to do a great job of blowing up their O-line to win this game. We cannot give whichever QB takes the field all the time in the world, like we did with Geno Smith. No matter how great your secondary is receivers will get open if they are given too much time.

On offense I think we will move the ball well, but we have to come out strong at the beginning of the game. No sleep walking through the 1st quarter this week.

Shep made all of his big plays in highschool playing qb in an option offense. Why isn't he our speed runningback. I would bet shep would do great being a change of pace runningback. But what do I know, I'm no coach.

Because you need the RB and receivers to hold their blocks to spring him loose, and I've seen a few blown assignments in the backfield when we've run similar plays.

His hands are always going to be a problem IMO, and I suspect that's why we're not seeing him on returns.

Hard to say, and why they pay coaches a lot of money to figure these things out. You don't put him in a lot of single-back sets because you're telegraphing the play. Not sure what we have for dual backs besides the I.
