Y'all are very welcome. ;) And I think the second string qb (now the 1st string) has a bruised leg as well. So this should be nothing more than a glorified scrimmage. :thumb:

Thanks bama. Maybe we will return the favor since we get the barnners before you get to them.

Demps also got banged up (ankle I believe) on a kick return. I'm not sure his status but I don't think he'll be 100% either.

A bama fan here at work was telling me about this.

If that is the case, Florida is done.

Yeah, if I remember correctly he did come back in the game but proved to be ineffective because of the gimpy ankle/leg. But the sideline injury report never clarified much of anything. But I don't think it matters though. Brantley being out is too much for them. The true freshman simply isn't ready and I don't think one week will make much difference. Plus fatboy Chollie is about as predictable of OC as they come. All week long all he talked about was "throwing the kitchen sink" at us with regards to the playbook. I didn't see anything (even before Brantley's injury) that was out of the ordinary for their offense.

We'll have to be solid on special teams, specifically kick offs. They returned one last year against us, so we'll need to at least get kickoffs to the end zone; which we've been kind of inconsistent at doing.

That is really high in my opinion.
I think UF is better than most people think. Sure Bama killed them but watching the game I think UF is going to be a huge test for this team.
Our offense better find a way to move the ball consistently. UF has playmakers that can bust one on our defense. For LSU to win this game in my opinion they need to force UF to change their game plan. Get on top quickly and bring the pressure. If they allow UF to hang around because we cannot capitalize on mistakes or short fields could bode bad for us. Again not saying we will lose I am just saying. Being #1 in the AP can be a negative that we tend to be circled as everyones "Season definng game"
I promise you Tennessee is already working LSU film.

The same with UF. This game will define the rest of their season. They win this one and they are back on track.

So I hope LSU (Which I know they will be) be prepared for UF's best shot. Regardless of who is on the field.
and LSU if possible better get on top quick and force UF to abandon their game plan.
If its close in the 4th (A 17-13 type game) that will not be good.
UF is very talented and our offense has yet to prove it can control a game.
Our defense can but when you play the likes of UF and Bama you need both sides of the ball clicking.

I have faith in the Tigers but for some reason this one and Tennessee makes me very nervous.
