Glad to see we have a top seed, but how does UF end #1 when we won the regular season title and beat them 2 out of 3? Amazing how the selection team is against us.

Honestly I am probably the biggest LSU fan in here and I will be the first one to say LSU didn't deserve to be a top five seed. I think they have it right. Getting beat by Mississippi State twice in the SEC tournament giving up a 3-0 lead late in the game is no exception. Poor pitching and inconsistent hitting from the tigers is probably going to cost us in the tournament. I know some of you will disagree but I"m just being completely honest. Our in ability to come through late in games with a pitching rotation has been just ridiculous. This program has a long way to go considering we have soo much talent.. We're probably the most talented baseball team in the country. When we are on we are on but when we are off we're off.

Big Ben predicted the CWS to come down to LSU and UF, w/ UF winning it all.

Nearly every team among the top 8 seeds bowed out of their conference tournament early. Having said that, Goody having several bad outings in a row is a concern. Our starting pitching and our bull pen have been our strong suit all year. It's how we won so many close games this year. I look for that to continue at the Box. We should be on our way back to Omaha if we get the clutch hitting when we need it and our bull pen closes out close games.

Goody is my biggest concern right now, but every one of these teams has faced the same problems this year. Pitching depth is going to be huge again in tourney.

Agree. That's how we beat UF over there...pitching. That's what we have over most of these teams in an extended tournament. Again, it will be interesting this year because of the bats. Which team gets hot usually determines the winner but that includes the pitching staffs.

Way for him to 'represent'. (I know, he's paid for his opinion, not to be a homer)

I agree, but FU draws Ga. Tech in their regional. Besides Miss. St., Ga. Tech is one of the hottest teams in the nation and they have every bit of the power, pitching, and depth that FU has. I wouldn't want to play them right now.
