SportsNation Polls - SportsNation - ESPN It seems that the majority of voters think lsu is a lucky team rather one that knows how to win. So I guess all the espn and sec propaganda is being heard.
Notice Idaho strongly feels we are lucky But lets be honest, we are lucky to have won some of the early games. I would say the close games now, are games the team knew how to win imo.
I look at it like this.. I used to shoot pool a lot. Sometimes it was for money, back when my eyesight was good enough. Anyway, some of the worst beatings me and my pocketbook ever took was by someone who just seemed to be so lucky it made me sick. Later on I realized that they weren't. They were just good and knew how to keep me interested enough to keep playing them for money. As far as LSU, yeah they may have lucked up once or twice. But for some strange reason, they always stay close enough in the game to come grab it out from under the opponent at the last minute. It's what they do time and time again, and they've become exceedingly good at it. I'd rather the rest of the teams think we're "lucky". :miles:
I'm sure Les Miles is eagerly awaiting his Sports Nation approval rating every Monday. Oh wait, he doesn't give a rat's ass if people think we're lucky, and neither should you. 80% isn't luck.
