I thought everyone saw Crocodile Dundee. Izzy, I find myself having a hard time addressing that stat. On one hand I definitely agree we should pass more on first. On the other hand, I was getting concerned with the time our defense was being run out on the field with short drives. Also, having the weapon we have, it's hard to curse a coach for using it. Since it worked and we won, I've given Coach Miles a pass in my mind. Just think, about this. Over the past couple of games, we've seen Harris' progess. Bama will not be expecting it.

For as good as our Oline is, Gator defenders were sure hitting/stopping Fournette in the backfield a lot.
They sold out assuming we would go to our extreme tendency of running on first down. When we didn't in the first half, we lit that defense up for 304 yards and 28 points. When we VERY PREDICTABLY (even LSU fans saw this coming from a Les Miles team) went back to being one dimensional in the 2nd half to protect a lead and wear them down blah blah blah, you saw an offense struggling mightily to move the ball against a very good defense. It took a fake field goal to get more than 3 points. Do that against Bama on the road, and we'll put up 3 points a half. If you think our defense will win that game, think again. We see clearly it isn't capable of doing that unless it dramatically improves in just 1 game.
