I'm feeling very optimistic about this game. For one LSU is playing focused football. LSU is playing with an air of confidence we have not seen in a few years. Add to that Ole Miss may be a bit down after a close loss that kills any hopes for a possible SEC title. I think we match up well with Ole Miss. They don't run the ball well which means they rely heavily on the pass. LSU has a ton of DB's to put out there to cover their WR's. Engram will however create a difficult match up. TE's have hurt LSU in the past, we shall see what Aranda does to remedy this. I feel confident LSU will be able to pressure Kelly who is prone to throwing bad interceptions. Offensively I feel LSU will be able to move the ball and put up points. I have it: LSU 38 Ole Miss24
I do like our pass defense this year and Ole Miss isn't really a team that can line up and punch you up the gut, so there's that.
Dont think it matters who is playing RB for us as Ole Miss can't stop the run, nor can they run it. Kelly hits a few plays and high schoolers on his way to 300+, but 3 picks later... Tigers 37-23.
It's the Rebels bowl game. They are to LSU what LSU is to Bama, or at least what we use to be to Bama. Get you when you least expect it. They have not much to play for except it's LSU.
Tonight will be known as the game Tiger Stadium returned. The weather is perfect; the Eaux energy is ever present; the opponent is Old Piss; the game is critical. The crowd is all in all night and a factor in the game.. 41 - 21 LSU LF 14 carries - 136 yards 2 TD; 1 catch 32 yards Guice 15 carries for 128 yards and 1 TD ; 3 catches 65 yards All other runners - 8 carries 55 yards Passing 21 for 29 275 yards 2TD no int - to 8 different receivers
Screw the numbas, This game will be over after the 3rd qtr. LSU wins big. Oh (no pun) and expect to see some Brandon Harris.
