This one is not on coaches. It's on Mettenberger not being able to hit the broad side of a barn, a porous O-line, and playing the entire game with no linebackers on the field. Well, at least there's a good recruiting class coming in next season and the Chick fil A Bowl.

 

I think you are both right.

Mettenberger just lost a lot of stock in that NFL draft. You can't make poor reads like that and get paid millions of dollars.

OTOH .. the defense stinks ... has all year with the exception of when we are playing a nobody.

Lamar Louis needs to be elevated to starter at MLB. The last OM touchdown wouldn't have happened .. that was all on Welter. Lostone needs something .. I don't know what , but he's not playing like no all SEC defensive back.

 

Nothing super specific but he didn't just use the stock line of "LSU has a good bunch of players". Gave a good bit of credit to the team. Also said everything can happen through the grace of a God.

You could tell it meant a lot to him.
