So now we "officially" know what bowl we're going to and who the opponent will be.... Can we get a DC announcement please??? :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Predicted winners Florida Bama Georgia Iowa (this is the hardest game to chose) Texas Tech LSU ECU Boston College SEC 4-4 bowl record not too bad especially for a down year. Ole Miss easily gets the worst team to match up with.
Re: It's official: LSU vs. #15 Georgia Tech in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl LSU allowed.... UF Demps 10 for 129 Rainey 11 for 66 UGA Moreno 21 for 163 Bama Coffee 26 for 126 Arky Johnson 18 for 127 Arky is a passing team and still ran on us, UF and UGA are more balanced but still ran on us, and Bama is more run oriented and ran on us. I'm not very confident that LSU will shut down a team that is 100% run, a team that beat UGA, who killed us. We'll see.
The SEC should be favored in the top 4 games, and underdogs in the bottom 4. Huge mismatches in some of them, most notably the ACC runner-up vs the 7th/8th SEC team.
Re: It's official: LSU vs. #15 Georgia Tech in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl In all fairness we did give them a ton of free points... all in all I don't think UGA killed us.
Re: It's official: LSU vs. #15 Georgia Tech in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl UGA was warming up the bus before LSU scored the easy points at the end. It was close in the first half, and they ran away with it in the second.
I am sorry, but unless a better team than I have seen the past few months shows up.... I think we will have a tuff game ahead of us. We were very nearly 6-6 folks.
:geaux:Just got call from Baton Rouge, We got tixs and have boked rooms already, Heading down on 29th, who else heading down to Hot Lanta:geaux::geaux:
We'll be there three nights...29th, 30th, and 31st. I was hoping to return to the Marriott Marquis but that's the ACC team's hotel, so we're staying at another Marriott. I hope it's warmer than it was in 2005. The parade was nice but the cold wind was tough to handle.
